These pictures are from tonight. Maggie threw a fit in the first picture and ended up on the rug on the deck and since she won't look at me much anymore I thought I would snap a pic. She totally looks like her daddy in that picture I think at least. She was rocking grandma in the second pic and then tried to pull her hair. The last picture we stopped of at Dairy Queen and got a fudge bar for mommy 1 pt. and an orange-vanilla bar also 1 pt. for Maggie, if you look closely her tongue is sticking out below the popsicle.

Here are some pictures from sunday. We had a busy weekend re-landscaping the side yard with blocks and stepping stones and more pea gravel than we ever thought possible. I got all(I think) the flowers that I want planted for the summer done this weekend. Got both cars washed and the house clean and half (unfortunatly) of the laundry done. It was a nice and productive weekend since I think this next one is going to be rain filled it will be a nice break to not have to work in the yard(except maybe mow the grass).

We had spaghetti last night, it is Maggie's favorite meal if you can't tell by looking at her face. She is totally getting in to feeding herself lately sometimes it is a pian but you gotta love the mess she can come out with. Enjoy!!

Popcorn Hog!!

Maggie was having a blast eating some kettle korn popcorn for a snack this morning. She was even sharing with Lizzie. Brian came home for half a day but the day was busy running for my grandma not really an enjoyable day off other than this morning getting to hang out with Maggie and then eating popcorn on the deck. Oh well maybe next week.

Polka A Dot Jammies

Maggie got new Jammies and it is finally warm enough at night to wear. She kicks off the covers so we have to make sure she is warm or she wakes up often. We have started a new bedtime routine and it is working out great although we have only done it for the past two nights I think it will work for us. We were having a a tough time staying awake while we were rocking her to sleep well now we tell her what we are going to do and she nods off pretty easily. At least for now. We will see when the time comes to shorten the rocking period. I just love these jammies and she needed to play a little before we started the routine so I snapped some pics.

Today we had to go purchase my baby new shoes she has grown out of the 4's in record time so she got 3 new pairs of shoes hopefully she won't grow out of those as fast but they are just from target so it wouldn't be a huge loss if she did grow out of them in another 2-4 months. I also just out of curiosity measured her against the mark I had put on the wall in February and it looks to me like she has grown 1.5 inches we will see in a few weeks when we go for her 15 month check-up even though she will be 16 months. Ugh don't they know moms like to be right on the date of their birthdate ..hehe!! That would explain the long naps and short pants.... I did get some flowers planted today but some pots I had I think are MIA or Brian threw them away thinking they were junk so when we went to Home Depot today I got 3 new pots 2 of which were on clerance woohoo, everyone loves a deal ! Didn't get to pot my plants though we got home to late for me to see then I noticed that it had started raining. I thought that was over but I guess it is still April. Anyway I am beat and ready for some zzzz. Good Night!!

Congratulations Rachel

Rachel was inducted into National Honors Society tonight, Phi Theta Kappa. She was also announced the President for the 2007-2008 school year. We are so proud of her, she works her butt off and deserves all the goodness that comes too her!! We love you Rachel, we are so proud of you today and ALWAYS!!

From Florida

The Eyes have it

I couldn't resist this morning snapping some pictures of Maggie in her chair yet again... I love that chair although when I do take the pics she always has food on her face oh well it is the picture that counts right.

Happy Easter

Here are some pictures from Easter. Maggie fell in love with cats at my grandmas house this is the only one that would get within 10 feet of her. The dark picture down the hall was taken by DH it was his first time using the new camera it was an adventure, but maybe I can get him to use it more often now. I hope everyone had a Happy Easter...and not too many cavities.

Elk's Easter Egg Hunt

Maggie, Linda and I went to the Elk's for a Easter Party.Maggie had a good time they just plan them at nap time which makes it hard for little kids. Anyway as you can see she didn't like the Easter bunny, oh well maybe next year. She got her face painted and we colored and put stickers on a terracotta pot that we planted marigold in. She got an Easter basket and hunted eggs...all in all a fun afternoon. Now we are off to a fundraiser for Juvenile Diabetes.

I was playing with my camera this morning and got some decent pics so I thought I would share. We are going to an Easter Party today so hopefully I will get some good pics and be able to share those too.

Eggs

Jamie and the girls came over tonight to color eggs we got 3 dozen done it took forever but it was fun. We only had one mishap with the red dye (all over) but it was quickly and easily cleaned up, needless to say we only got 2 red eggs the above with eyes and a beak being one of them. Anyway off to get some much need shut eye the blog with probably say I did this at like 10 but it really is 12.06 am ...longest I have stayed up in ages! Even on St. Patrick's Day I feel asleep putting Maggie to bed at 9. or so.
