Ok So I have been a blog slacker so I am just going to try and recap a few months LOL.
The summer has flown by and it is just been a whirlwind of activity and I am just now realizing all that I haven’t posted.
June was spent doing some fun things and expanding our family.
We went and saw my godson Chase play baseball and win the game. They were such cute kids to watch even though most of them at 11-12 year olds. He is so into it and they are a great team hopefully they get to play together again next year. Here are some pictures from the game.

That same week we had a bar b que at the grandparents house with Neil and Susan and Chris and Connor (Jennifer wasn’t feeling well). They had popsicles and were so cute.


The next day it rained and Maggie had to play in the rain she had to have the flower umbrella and her boots from Aunt Rachel on she looks so cute playing in the rain.

And of Course we had Owen on June 23rd.

Our Chunky Monkey

On friday Owen went to get his shots and my goodness he is a big guy which we knew but I never realized how big he really was I mean carrying him (in his carseat) is quite a chore but you have to do it so you don't think about the weight you just get on with it. Anyway my babies are in the exact same porportion. Owen at his 2 month check up weighs 16 lbs 4 oz and is 24 inches long. Maggie also weighed 16 lbs 8 oz and was 24 1/4 inches long the only difference was she was 6 months old. This information peeks my insterest to see what he is going to be like at 6 months.

6 years and going strong

I can't believe 6 years ago today I became Mrs. Brian McGuire. I don't think I could have picked a better person for me. The lord knew what he was doing all those years ago not letting us hit the right time until he was ready for us to be on the same page in life. I thank him each day for bring us together. Honey I love you and look forward to many more years together.

Slacker Mommy

I got the camera out tonight and tried to get some good pictures of Owen for his 6 weeks eventhough it was 2 days ago. I love the photos just not perfect yet I have a lot of practice to go. I do have more pictures of things we have done just not really time to get everything done in a day maybe tomorrow I can get them all uploaded and post some blogs here shortly.

2 Weeks Old

I am a bit late in posting this but it works right?!? Anyway we have all been adjusting some better than others (read : Daddy is back in the swing of things, lol)! Today was the first day I actually felt like a normal human, yeah i have felt good other days but I have been plagued with the baby blues of course it is completely normal but I was just wishing it would go away, well I feel as if I have been on the down hill slide of the blues today! Owen has been doing great i have had two nights with 4 hours of straight sleep the rest has been about every 2 or so by the time he eats and I get back in bed and asleep. Maggie loves her little brother and wants to hold him constantly which is nice most of the time. She can be a bit aggressive at times but for the most part she is doing great with him. She really loves when she goes to bed now Owen lays with her while I read her books, she gets to have one last cuudle with him before bed. Anyway I have more pictures to post just haven't gotten them off the other camera. Maggie had a similar photo taken when she was 24 days old it is at the bottom of my blog, if you want to compare the two monkeys!
