The Beach

We went to cocoa beach on the first day of vacation. Both kids loved it, Maggie loved being in the water Owen loved sticking his toes in it.  We were a ways from the water but you still had to keep and eye on the little guy he would just get up and go for the water, they are like their daddy (gonna be fish).

Missing you is hard loving you still is not!!

I remember playing rummy, eating cheese and crackers and having hot tea like a tea party. You drove me to school and picked me up.  We always planted flowers like the moss rose you loved.  We always had watermelon in the summer together and you used to sit outside and watch me ride my bike or play.  We made runs to the produce stand and the local grocery store.  You always helped me with my spelling words and social studies.  I love how you always kept important papers under your placemat. You always had the best cookies.  I can still hear you call me name in the way that only you could.  I cherish the days I had with you, I wish I had many more, but thankful you got to see my babies and hold them in your arms.  I would love for Maggie to have made cookies with you she would have loved that she loves to cook.  Owen loves to eat so he would be right there too.  I miss you!!

Birthday Princess

My baby girl turned FIVE this year.  I am at a loss at how I thought I would feel or react.  I am sad that she is five I feel like I have missed so much and done so little with her. I miss my teeny tiny baby girl  that I held so closely and breathed in her baby scent. I miss those sweet first gurgles that melt your heart.  I miss her quietness that wasn't quite cherished enough(lol). I love seeing her grow and change.  This big girl has me in tears more times than not as I burst with love holding her.  I thank god everyday for making this girl mine.

NEW YEAR!! We spent New Year's Eve Out this year and plan on doing so again next year so fun and missed over the years!!

BIRTHDAY!! # 33 to be exact!! Surprised my hubby with a trip to Jilly's Cupcake Bar & Cafe, which was awesome if you can't tell from the photo. Even gave us a candle for the occasion. Then we went to Popeye's Chop House in St. Rose. Both so yummy and it was a fantastic day all around. Love you Brian!!
